THE PROCESS

THE MARKET

Back to the future.  Does 2008 feel like 1999?  Remember the dot.com boom?  Talent was scarce and hard to find.  Welcome to 2008!  The same scarcity of talent exists today (dot.com boom 2.0?) as back in 1999.  All the more reason to tap into EKA’s vast network of talent resources to find the best fit.  Our network is constantly refreshed.  We know where the talent is and how to reach them.

THE MONSTER

The old saying still holds true: “the best candidates are not looking . . .  they are found and recruited.”  Posting your job on Monster.Com attracts mostly the unemployed “consultants” who were “down-sized” out during the recession.  While you may be satisfied with the volume of resumes generated off of the Monster, quality is another issue.  The best candidates are always recruited.  They are successful in their current agency environment and seldom post their resume on on-line services.

THE PROCESS

How your agency is perceived by candidates during the recruiting and interviewing process is often a good indicator to the candidate of what it will be like to work for the agency. A r disorganized recruitment and interview process can turn off the highly qualified candidate.  Conversely, a well-executed recruitment and interview process greatly enhances the chances of landing the most qualified candidate.

Eric Kercheval & Associates carefully works with its clients to make certain that they are communicating the most compelling story to candidates about your agency, the position, the clients and your geographic location.

We can also coach your staff on interview techniques and prepare interview outlines and “check off” lists for your staff to use in the interview process.  Just as the candidate must make the best impression, so must the employer.
